More tools are added based on teacher feedback.

By default, the tools only save data locally in your browser. It does not leave your device unless you export it. This means it's private by default. If you want a tool to remember your settings across different devices, you can use a toggle on the Teacher Journal, Seating Chart Maker, Spin the Wheel, and the Comment Log.

Yes. The Comment Log and Teacher Journal both have export-to-text options. The Seating Chart Maker includes a print button that generates a clean printable layout. The First Year Guide has a "Print Complete Guide" button in the page header that prints the full guide as a single document.

The forums are organized by topic: classroom management, instructional strategies, self-care, and more. You can read any thread without an account. To post or reply, you'll need a free account. We keep things respectful and practical: no spam, no politics, no negativity for the sake of it. Just teachers talking to teachers.

Yes, sharing is one of the best parts of the community. You can upload lesson plans, templates, rubrics, and other materials through the Resource Library. All submissions are reviewed before going live.

The Faculty Lounge connects newer teachers with experienced educators who are open to mentoring. You can search for mentors by subject, grade level, and experience. Mentorship is voluntary on both sides, and communication happens through the site's messaging system. It's peer-to-peer, not a formal program, which means it's flexible and self-directed.

Tuesday Announcements contains updates about The Faculty Lounge. When we have announcements, we'll send them out on a Tuesday in a short, skimmable format.

When you create your free account, the email you sign up with is where Tuesday Announcements arrive. You can opt out anytime using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.

No and no. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The Faculty Lounge has no ads: no banners, no sponsored posts, no affiliate links. If we recommend something, it's because we think it's useful, not because someone paid us.

Tools like the Comment Log and Student Name Game store data locally in your browser only: nothing is sent to our servers. We recommend using first names only or anonymized identifiers as a general best practice, regardless of platform.
